My New MK Journey

 It's hard to explain with words how I feel right now. Perhaps excited and enthusiastic are a good fit. Allow me to introduce myself. I am a very happy wife, and a blessed mom, and most importantly, I am in LOVE with God! Nothing I do is possible without HIS guidance. 

I started this blog right after my decision to become an entrepreneur. Yes, that's right! I'm a #bossbabe! I recently decided to become a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant. My background is in Social Work and Education. I'm a secondary school teacher on a leave of absence for this school year. Why? To be a full time mommy to my little baby girl. I've got two teenage boys. In 2021 both of my boys will transition into new stages of their education. One is headed to high school and the other is headed to college. I mean, what???!!!! Where did the time go? 

So why did I decide to start a Mary Kay business? Easy. I looked at my daughter and I said "Kezia, you're my why". My baby girl is my why. I mean don't get me wrong, I love teaching and I plan to go back next school year. But who says I can't use my educational background and my LOVE for MK products to teach women to care for their skin? I can teach women to look and feel their best. I want my little girl to look at her mom and just know that she used her talents and desire to help women without hesitation. 

So, you may ask, why MARY KAY? That's easy! I have used these products for many years and I'm a true believer because it's proven in me! Listen, we all know (or if we don't, we do know) that the LARGEST organ in our body is our skin. Yes-our SKIN! We want to make sure that the products we use are the BEST. What about make up? Mary Kay's makeup is super high quality, you can see the difference.
