One Month Later and WOW!
HELLO Gorgeous!
Tomorrow will be one month since I started my MK bossbabe journey! I never thought that in just one month I would be where I am today. First, during my skin care grand debut, I had 14 of my friends and family come and support me. They cheered me on and encouraged me all the way. Many were impressed with Mary Kay products and became my customers. Second, I decided to jump right in and start doing my own skin care and make up virtual parties almost immediately. It was a risk I was willing to take because I believe that the more you practice, the better you get. Did I know what I was doing? Hmmmm not really. I mean, I watched the videos of other women doing them, I jotted down pointers from my amazing coaches, but I wasn't 100 percent ready. But you know what? I had so much fun! I'm still having fun.
Let me tell you that the first virtual party I did on my own was a hydrassession with 2 women that I didn't know. They were friends of my good friend Maria. So you better believe I was definitely at least a little bit nervous. I was encouraged by their grace and support. They were attentive, sweet, and supportive. I will never forget you two Patty and Dory. Thank you.
My second party was the one thing that I am not so great at: Make up. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm a make up girl, but I'm a basic make up girl. I like my foundation, mascara, and eyeliner. I never learned about color. Well, I decided to jump right in anyway. I watched video on how to put on eyeshadow by a seasoned MK bossbabe, and then I went to work. The three women that cheered me on were graceful, patient, and sweet. Thank you Sara, Roxy, and Yazmin. Oh and the best part? Sara (my BFF for life) teamed up with me and is now on her MK bossbabe journey too! My amazing neighbor and friend Florencia joined too! So thankful to be on the same team!
On this Radiate November month I wanted to just take a moment to express my gratitude to God, to my husband and sons (for their support), for my daughter (for being my why), and for my family and friends who have cheered me on all the way. Thank you all. I am so excited at what is ahead as I keep working my new business. I want to keep bringing joy to women everywhere. I want to keep sharing this one of a kind opportunity with a company that women know and trust. I look forward to the holiday season as I help women with cute and thoughtful gift ideas. I look forward to more virtual facial spa treatments, more skin care parties, and more make up parties. I look forward to learning more from my coaches. I can't end without giving a special thank you to Stephanie and Christine for being supportive and for teaching me to grow in my business. The community of women in Mary Kay is unparallelled. God first, Family Second, Career third.
Until next time Gorgeous!
